PACH DISCLAIMER

Here's our [slightly hefty] list of disclaimers:

01

We are not a registered Org, Charity, NGO, etc.

We just wanted to let you know that we're a social media community, not a chairty, organization, NGO or anything of the like.

02

Our opinions do not necessarily reflect those of any organization or association

The PACH blog may contain information from or about different organizations, but just because we have an opinion does not mean it is shared by the orgs or associations mentioned in a post or featured on the blog.

03

You should probably do your own research

Yeah, we provide you with lots of awesome information. But we can't do all of the work for you! It is important for readers to do their own research in addition to the [valuble & amazing] info we provide you with here on the blog.

04

We don't feature unethical posts or Guest bloggers, etc.

As you can probably imagine, we will not feature posts, social media groups or Guest bloggers/writers/activists, etc. which are unethical or support unethical industires (like cub petting, for instance). If you are interested in being featured on the blog, it would probably be best if you were against animal cruelty in all of its ways/shapes/forms. Just sayin'.

05

We're not into the whole aggressive-activism thing

We get it: people are passionate about animal rights & welfare. Hey, we're passionate about it, too. But we don't condone any violent or aggressive behaviour/language/actions. So, if you would like to be featured on the blog, want to leave a comment on a post or would like to contact us, you should know before-hand that we don't tolerate aggressiveness. You heard it here first, folks.

06

We're probably not going to promote your business.

Though we do support ethical, humane tour operators and safari/bush camp activities, the PACH blog isn't meant for the promotion nor advertising of companies or businesses. This isn't a self-interest blog, so we probably won't feel inclined to promote individual agendas or business interests. Sorry!

07

We're only human

The PACH Admin Team consists of four busy, always-on-the-go individuals who run PACH in all of its glory on a volunteer basis. That means that we don't bring home a paycheck or monetary reward for running PACH (nor should we!). So if we take longer than 5 minutes to respond to an email, or only update the blog a few times a week, it's not because we don't care. We're only human too, ya know.

08

We don't bother quarreling with hunters or anyone else who feels it's OK to kill wildlife for trophy

We are open to positive, constructive debate & discussion. That does not include getting into petty arguments with hunters, quarreling with naive breeding associations or wasting time/energy on useless spats with poachers. We're here to help raise awareness, not convert every hunter to ethical living. We think that's a pretty good stance to take...

09

Positive minds, people!

With all of the terrible things happening around the globe to both the environment & wildlife, it can be difficult to remain positive. We feel ya! However, positive attitudes often lead to positive results. So let's not be aggressive, rude, mean, violent or nasty to one another. Keep your chin up, stoke that fighting spirit of fire within you and help us save wildlife. :)

10

Rome wasn't built in a day...

We realize that animal activism and advocacy can be frustrating. No one said it was going to be easy. But bear in mind that, just as Rome wasn't built in a day (and it wasn't all that peaceful of a build, either), positive results from all of our hard work may not be immedietly evident. Stick with it, we'll get there!
