Chinese replace Zim Workers at Hwange National Park

Catherine Bearder, a British member of European Parliament, has expressed her concern over the presence of Chinese workers in Hwane National Park. It appears that Chinese workers are taking over the jobs of Zim workers as Zimbabwe continues to sell baby elephants, lions and other animals to China in order to fill demand for such animals in Chinese zoos, etc. This is not the first time Zimbabwe has sold its wildlife to China, nor is it the first incident in which we see China slowly (but surely) encroaching upon Africa.

Bearder suspects that the Chinese who have taken over the jobs of Zim workers are preparing elephants in Hwange for export to China -- something the Zim government has long been accused of doing through under-the-table, clandestine deals. Apparently selling off baby elephants for profit is a-okay by the Zim government. Eeeeek!
