MINISTER MOLEWA OF SA GOVN'T STRIKES & FAILS AGAIN
Edna Molewa, the notoriously moronic Minister of Environmental Affairs for the South African Government, convened a stakeholders engagement recently which sought to discuss the issues surrounding the breeding & hunting of lions in South Africa.
Oddly enough, this "engagement" was simply another attempt by the Minister to cover-up SA's shameful lack of action towards saving the country's wildlife. You will note that no conservationists, environmentalists, animal behaviour specialists or the like were in attendance; rather, the entire population of the engagement consisted of breeders & hunters and their associated bodies, orgs, etc. Where were the organizations, NGOs, charities, and the ilk who are meant to stand up for and be the voice of Africa's lion? Nowhere to be found, apparently.
If there were a scoreboard, Point 1 would go to Edna with 0 points alloted to us activists and concerned partisans.
